I’m Jeet Khagram, a travel photographer and filmmaker from Mumbai, India. For me, photography isn’t just about clicking a shutter, it’s about telling a story that feels real. Over the last 15+ years, I’ve travelled to more than 20 countries, capturing landscapes, adventures, and those in between human moments that often say the most. I love shooting a mix of everything and I enjoy editing just as much as being out in the field. I was born with hearing loss and have a cochlear implant, and I believe that growing up in a quieter world has helped me see life differently. That unique perspective shapes every frame I create. My goal with both photography and filmmaking is to create visuals that go beyond just looking beautiful. I want them to make people feel something, to connect with a place, a story, or a moment as if they were right there. Some of my work has been featured in places like Times Square, Canon India, Nomadict, Daily Mail UK, and many more.

  • The Eye Behind the LensColumn

Some photographers chase light. Others wait for it.

Jeet Khagram is a visual storyteller based in India — a photographer, filmmaker, and artist whose work spans the world's most extraordinary landscapes and the most intimate human moments. Every frame is a deliberate act: composed with patience, captured with precision, and finished with an obsessive commitment to craft

  • The Craft

There are no shortcuts in this work.

Jeet works with professional-grade camera systems and lenses chosen for their rendering of light and depth. Drone work adds a cinematic dimension — aerial perspectives that reveal scale and context impossible from the ground. Post-processing is deliberate and restrained: the goal is always to honour what was actually there, not to fabricate something that wasn't.

The result is imagery that feels both immediate and timeless.

  • The Story

Photography, for Jeet, was never a career choice. It was an inevitability.

Growing up with a restless curiosity for the world beyond the horizon, the camera became the instrument through which that world made sense. Early travels through the Himalayas — those vast, silent altitudes where light behaves differently, where golden hour lasts only seconds — made it clear: this was not a hobby. This was a calling.
